The Alliance for Health and Rehabilitation is governed by a 12-member Board of Trustees who volunteer their time and skills. Members are elected for three-year terms.
Dale Deubler, President
Dale has been involved in global health service learning for over two decades, leading volunteer service in Mexico, Honduras and Rwanda. She retired from The Ohio State University, Division of Physical Therapy faculty in 2018, when the Alliance for Health and Rehabilitation was created.
Alexandra Borstad, PT, PhD, NCS, Vice President
Alex is the Progam Director of the Doctor of Physical Therapy and Clinical Professor at Oregon State University-Cascades. For over 20 years, she has had significant leadership roles in the global health service learning courses in Merida, Mexico during faculty positions at The Ohio State University and The College of St. Scholastica.
Alvin Rodack, Treasurer
Al is Vice President of Finance & Administration at Ohio Dominican University. Previously he spent 35 years in the Office of the Treasurer at The Ohio State University. He is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP). Al was on the Board and served as Chairman of the Treasury Institute for Higher Education. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Columbus Medical Association Foundation and The Columbus Historical Society.
Vicky Humphrey, PT, MS, Secretary
Vicky has had a long career in health care administration, academics and patient care. Currently, she is a reviewer of continuing education program applications as part of the Ohio Physical Therapy Association. She has participated in AHR trips to Tizimin, Mexico since 2018.
